Cape Cod Addition

Dean Johnson and Robin Hartl start a 10-part series on an extensive project: Adding a family room onto a small Cape Cod style house and totally remodeling the kitchen. In this first program, they work with an architect to develop the remodeling plan. Dean and Robin oversee the digging and building of the block foundation and begin framing the new addition. (Part 1 of 10).

With the foundation capped, Dean and Robin continue work on the new family room addition of the Cape Cod home by framing new walls and tying them into existing walls. (Part 2 of 10).
